Presence through Absence Candelabra

This sculpture, which also functions as a candelabra, is created around the tension between solid form, planes, edges, and open space. Rich purple-pink surfaces, edges breaking into a dark, rich brown, flowing glazes, and branching arms create a shifting landscape of negative space that changes with the light and from every angle, reminding us that we’re alive.

Because sometimes the most alive place to be is in the negative space.
