Galaxy Ware Pitcher

Part of my Galaxy Ware series — a term I wish I had coined, but I’m lucky to be surrounded by people whose creativity sharpens my own.

This surface begins with a green glaze, followed by brushed wax resist, sometimes thick, sometimes barely there, before being dipped in black. What happens next feels almost cosmic. I don’t fully understand why it breaks into this starry-night pattern…

…but I’ve learned that not fully knowing is part of the magic.
