Midnight Mug (Blue over Brick Red)

Lately, I’ve begun "sculpting" an “elbow” at the base of the handle, a small hold for the third finger, and a quiet curve for the eye. The glaze flows just enough across wax resist stripes, pooling and breaking in all the right places. Oil spotting adds its own rhythm, while the red beneath seeps through the blue like for more infinite wonder. Enjoy!
