What began as a casual experiment has will become my go-to glaze combination. I narrowed the wax resist lines to partly to emphasize the form, partly to test how far I could push the surface dynamics. It worked.

Then comes the wait as the kiln cools, the mind going between confidence and doubt. Then the lifting of the lid and the reveal. Not every piece is a success, but this one is.

When it exceeds expectation, as this one did it's so fun and makes me want to make more to see how far a can push the form and glazes.
