Learn the essentials of working with slabs to create beautiful and functional pieces like cups, planters, and sconces. You’ll explore hand-building techniques such as rolling, joining, shaping, and texturing, then bring your work to life with glazing and finishing. Our experienced instructors will guide you step by step, helping you gain confidence and develop your own creative voice in clay. You’ll leave with both the skills and the pieces to show for it, handmade, one-of-a-kind ceramics that reflect your style. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to deepen their slab-building skills in a supportive, fun studio environment! Classes meet once a week, every Monday for 7 weeks from 6-9 pm. Everything included, clay, glaze, firing, tools, and a good time.
Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. Registration closes when the class is full or 7 days before the first session, whichever comes first. Cancellations made 14 or more days before the first class will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of class are non-refundable.. One-time transfer is allowed for future session if notice is given at least 3 days before start.
